Where to base yourself
- Bryggen and the HarbourThe UNESCO wharf, fish market and boat departures sit together on the eastern harbour. Choose it for history, food and easy access to the fjord trips.
- Nordnes and SandvikenPeninsula neighbourhoods with painted houses, small beaches and the old leprosy museum. Stay here for calmer streets and local swimming spots.
