Tips before you go
- Wear reef shoes when walking the rocky sections of shore; coral cuts are common and slow to heal.
- Drive on the left and check whether your licence needs a local temporary permit before collecting a rental car.
- Carry some cash for beach stalls and small eateries, even though cards are widely accepted in town.
