Where to base yourself
- Zhongshan and DatshiiDesign shops, temples and the Taipei 101 district. A central, well-connected base for a first visit.
- Ximending and the west sidePedestrian streets, night markets and older lanes. Good for evenings and easy eats.
- Beitou and TamsuiHot-spring valleys and riverside sunsets north of the city. Choose it for relaxation and a slower pace.
