- Sükhbaatar Square and the centreGovernment buildings, the National Museum and shops. The easiest base with restaurants and taxis close by.
- Chinggis Khan area and BayangolHotels, the central market and riverbank parks. Works well for short stays with good transport links.
- Zaisan and the eastern hillsViews over the city, the memorial hill and quieter hotels. Choose it for space and evening light.
