- The centre and StädtleThe single main street with the parliament, cathedral and the postage stamp museum within a few minutes of each other. The only base most visitors need.
- The castle hill and OberdorfResidential lanes climbing to the castle viewpoint, with vineyard paths branching off. Choose it for quiet and the best outlook.
- Schaan and the northern flatsThe adjoining town with cheaper hotels and the railway halt connecting to Switzerland. Useful if you are routing through Sargans.
