How Nollu Score works
Nollu Score is a trip-fit estimate for one itinerary—not a review of a destination, popularity leaderboard or promise that a trip will be perfect. It compares the dates, budget, pace, group and interests you enter with the curated place data used to build your plan.
The score is a weighted average of supported factors: budget fit (25%), daily rhythm (20%), interest match (20%), the dedicated Family fit indicator (20%, or 15% when children’s ages are supplied), and walking effort (15%). Only factors with relevant inputs and recorded data are included; the available weights are then normalised. Daily rhythm reflects the curated stops scheduled on full days, not a claim that a destination needs a particular number of days.
Confidence describes how much of the intended evidence is actually present for this trip. Missing budget or interest preferences, incomplete walking labels, or limited family-fit data lower confidence. Missing values are excluded rather than filled with guesses. For solo, couple and friends trips, the Family fit field is never presented as a general suitability score. We do not yet score season fit or accessibility needs because the underlying data is not complete enough.
Destination cost baselines and place information are planning estimates, not live quotes. Verify opening details, entry prices, accessibility and local conditions with official sources before booking. We review the method as Nollu’s data improves.
Payment, affiliate links and commercial relationships never change a Nollu Score or the order of score factors. Read our affiliate disclosure, or build a plan to see a trip-specific breakdown.
