MIREX says a valid multiple-entry visa or permanent residence for the United States, EU/Schengen, Canada or the United Kingdom can allow tourist entry with a valid passport and Tourist Card under Decree 691-07. Confirm the exact document and Tourist Card rules for your case.
Tourism Simple (TS): one entry for 60 days. Tourism Multiple (TM): two entries for 60 days.
MIREX lists a response time of 10–20 working days. Apply through the Dominican embassy or consulate serving your place of residence and leave extra time for appointments and document checks.
For a tourist visa application, MIREX lists an original passport valid for at least six months.
